does anyone know how to initiate a video call on this so i can try it out. i got the app but can't seem to figure out how to make a video call.

That is the User Manual for the App. I cant guarantee it will show you since my work PC wont let me download it, but its a start.

I think you'll need a large mirror to sit in front of also with the camera conveniently located on the back.
