Sprint and clearwire killed themselfs. I was a fan of Wimax when I first heard about, and Sprint and clearwire still have nothing to show for it! It took them way to long to get this going. Any hype has long been gone and very few people care (including myself) I hate to break it to you but Verizon HAS money...so they wont have a problem with building it up. Verizons 4g will pass Sprints as soon as they turn the switch on. Its been more then 2 years since it was first tested in the real world. How long before that do you think they were working on it? Wimax has been in the works for a easy 3 years...and they have a handful of cities. Thats not mobile..its just sad. Sprint lost my faith along time ago.

I laugh at your ignorance. 🤣

Yeah, Google, comcast, clearwire, and sprint all backing it and it will fail? Yeah right, lol....

Wimax will be used for way more things then just cell phones Hence the fact that they are rolling it out and cell hasn't even been included because cell will be just one of the many things it will be used for. 🙄

You laugh, yet Sprint and Clear have nothing to show for it, Nothing. Clear doesn't even offer service in their own area. Just because you pour money into something doesn't mean its going to work. Its about what customers want..and customers want real things not talk. Wimax at this point (3 years and going) is all talk. How many Sprint or Clear WiMax advertisements have you seen? I've seen none...cant really be that GREAT if they don't want to tell you about it. you can say whatever you want but their 4 g network still sucks and none cares. I would put money on less then 10% of people on the street know what Wimax is and that's who they are marketing it to, oh wait there is no marketing for it, yea that's a winning combo
