Voice can be 3G. CDMA2000 is 3G. That is besides the point. Verizon should learn from history. No one wants to fight a two front war. Verizon should keep its eyes on AT&T number one and number two is this is just straight whining. It was whining when AT&T sued and it is with VZW. Man up and make more cool commercials NOT legal filings.

Voice is not 3G on CDMA networks. Voice is over 1XRTT channel(2.5G). 3G on CDMA networks is EVDO channel. Not trying to be smart ass, just clearing up the facts. Verizon is defending their 3G data network just as AT&T is doing.

"CDMA2000 1xRTT is technically part of the third generation (3G) of cellular systems. However, because it is slower than other 3G systems, 1xRTT is sometimes classified as “second and a half” generation, an unofficial term for technologies that are seen as falling somewhere between the second and third generation of wireless cellular systems".

This was in the link you posted Azeron. So it does answer your question.
