Do you know what Sprints 4g really is?

Lte and clearwire are two different technologies. clearwire deals with more than just cell phones. Its going to change the way we use the internet which is why its called 4g. Instead of looking for a wifi hotspot. the whole city will be a hotspot. therefore your car will be integrated with the internet which will provide more service. Also plasma tvs will become touch screen internet enabled with the wimax chip. if your laptop has a chip theres no need to get an internet card you just log on..theres alot more ideas out there. U guys dont really know much about clearwire wimax do you? Sprint also said it will consider getting lte and wimax. Lte is like 4g but for cell phones sort of how 3g is now just faster. Not a city wide hotspot. big diff...

Wimax will be used for more then just cellular service. It will open the door for a whole new market for Sprint. They're opening their options and will exploit all avenues instead of being one dimensional.

This could be good verizon picked a good fight. You have the underdog Sprint going against the big dog never underestimate them I think Dan Hesse is ready and full force he will not back down like ATT. If Verizon don't stop they will end up like wall street to big to fail. Sprint u better believe have there ducks in a row I remember when Sprint first came out qchat and verizon claimed they're push to talk was better and sprint made them pull the ad they're ptt will never match iden verizon will not win this against sprint. If Sprint wins this will be big thanks to verizon Sprint will get a lot of PR because the big dog Verizon underestimated the underdog Sprint and the underdog is ready to BITE
