Well, IF Sprint truly is making a false claim, then it needs to be addressed.

But I honestly don't see why Verizon would waste $6 of an attorney's salary to file a motion like this. Sprint is not even really a competitor at this point. Hasn't been for almost 3 years. What's the point?

The problem is: What the heck is dependability? Is it every time I attempt a call it goes through? Is it never dropping a call? Is it always receiving a call when my mother dials my number? Seriously, give it a rest, VDub. You guys are smelling yourselves just because you laid the smack down on AT&T with a few commercials and now you are full of arrogance. 🙄

It sounds like dependability was determined by a study that cites Verizon as more reliable that Sprint. Sprint is saying "most dependable" on every ad, and perhaps thats worth a challenge. I don't believe people are out there choosing carriers based on who's company is nicest or meanest to the other ones. I think they might be using different criteria.

Again, people may not be choosing their wireless providers by trying to determine which one appears more arrogant.

Totally asinine. Sprint can back up their claim with independent studies. It isn't something they just made up.

Simple fact, Verizon isn't doing as well as we all thought they were. It is clear that they are grasping at straws trying to get anything on anyone. The fact that they have subpar phones is catching up to them pretty quickly. The fact that they are behind Sprint in 4G is killing them. And, like all other companies, not having the iPhone is killing them.

It isn't a horrible business move- if it works. That is, if Sprint stops saying they have the best network and people don't find out it is because Verizon cried like a two year old to make it happen. Maybe they can find a map for that too.

Verizon has a better phone selection then Sprint does by far. Verizon has 90 million customer conpared to Sprint CDMA 12 or what ever million CDMA customers. 4G is not killing Verizon. Verizon is about to release a better 4G network that wont be dead in 2 years. Verizon is doing a whole lot better then Sprint is doing by a long shot.

Which is why they need to use deceptive advertising and challenge anything that doesn't make them look like they are the only carrier choice.

If Verizon didn't spend more money on TV ads than the rest of the industry they would be a mid tier carrier.

LTE is still not a finished product. Remember how we were all supposed to be using WCDMA by 2001? WIMAX has lots of growth opportunity.

I'm not wrong- Verizon has Blackberry devices and a bunch of junk. The Droid is OK, but is nothing that another carrier doesn't have.

As far as what Verizon is about to release... about to release means nothing. AT$T could release 5G that they just haven't talked about. We can only deal with what we know- and that is that Verizon is falling behind.

Is Verizon the largest carrier? Yes. Are they doing better than Sprint? Yes. Is their coverage any better? No. Is the network better? No. Is the pricing better? No. Are they doing anything better than anyone else, other than being bigger? No.

I am on Sprint's side here but really? Verizon's coverage is quite a bit better. This idea that because Sprint customers can roam on Verizon towers one can claim that as Sprint coverage has always been odd to me.

Forget the maps, If Sprint's coverage was as attrocious as the VZW people claim then a major part of Sprint's minutes of use would be roaming off of other carriers. Reality is that it is less than 5% of the total minutes of use by Sprint customers. VZW is the king of coverage where most people don't go.
Coverage is a relative thing. If you need coverage someplace that only one carrier covers then that carrier is the best choice. But if all things are equal as they are for most of the population then why would anyone choose to pay 40% more for VZW when they can do much better with Sprint. Sorry VZW fanboys but your company overcharges and is not any better of a choice for most Americans. All of your swagger about your superiority is nothing ...

They must not have anything better to do with all the extra money they're making from overcharging their customers 🤣
