Isnt T-mobile trying to buy out sprint? just a rumor i heard and would like to know more info.

its been in talks for almost 2 years now, doesn't seem like anything is going to come of it though i could be wrong

Somehow I doubt T-Mobile would be interested in trying to merge 3 different technologies into one carrier... 😕

If it happened, I would spin off the iDen network or sell it if they could find someone foolish enough to buy it.

last think i heard that the buy out was cancelled. the German goverment didnt approve it..

Correct, T-Mobile is going in a different direction to get more customers. Also, it is only two different networks not three (CDMA:Sprint and iDEN:Nextel/Boost). VM uses the Sprint network.

Sorry, my mistake. I thought the person was talking about Sprint Nextel network only but T-Mobile network was included. This will make it three different network.

Deutsche is looking for partners for Tmobile.

I doubt anything will come of the Sprint talk.
