For people who need infrequent access to data this is very good. The daily rate is the same as the daily-rate on Verizon mifi but the data allotment is so tiny. Perhaps they will sell "data only" sims that won't eat up your pre-paid dollars at the expensive per megabyte charge that currently exists when you have an overage on your prepaid data package. Now T-Mobile has to start offering pre-paid data...
