LG Delivers Its First Netbook to U.S. Market Via AT&T
Question...
Is LG not aware of AT&T's network issues? If so, Why would they offer their first netbook through AT&T? Would this not somewhat chance a reputation of negative aspects of the product in the eyes of a consumer? AT&T's network can't handle the bandwidth usage now. Isn't another bandwitdh hog device such as a netbook going to hurt the network even more?
If I was going to launch a first ever for my company, I certainly would want it on a more stable enviroment to better reflect my product.

I don't get all the hate. None of the speed issues, service issues, etc. have ever been a problem anywhere I've been.
I get it may be less desirable in other areas I haven't gone - but that's true for any carrier.
I understand certain areas may be exempt, But as a whole, not so well.
However, with the position that AT&T is in I do feel that people who do have issues feel like more should be done to correct them.

AT&T has somewhere in the neighborhood of 80 million customers (correct me if I'm wrong)...if the coverage was as bad as people make it sound on forums the number would be decreasing rather than increasing.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves; yeah, AT&T's network is adequate. But the millions of adds they've had lately have been due to the iPhone, not the network.

In a LOT of parts of the country AT&T's network is excellent. If you're planning on using it where you have mostly AT&T 3G coverage why not get it? Their network is faster than Verizon's.
Theoretically it's faster. But yes, AT&T's network is good in spots, just like every other network is good in spots. No need for any of the exaggeration or hyperbole. If you get great coverage where you live, go for it.
Whereas some devices are constantly dynamically pinging the netowrk and draining resources completely unnecessarily.

As a consumer that reads phone forums, I am aware of AT&T's tattered network.
I wouldn't describe AT&T's network as "tattered". Tmobile's network is tattered. AT&T's network is...overwhelmed. They've got a good network; they just didn't plan for the smartphone (i.e. iPhone) explosion. From what I've read, AT&T is furiously working on adding bandwidth. They're not just going to roll over and die for Verizon.
