So when is the update coming the 5th of Never?
Why would they not give a time frame, I know some updates from these companies (moto) have taken 6 Months + to fix issues with their V750... for example. The camera issue should be a simple patch they can apply, who knows...

The 11th of December.
As I just picked up a Moto Droid and am experiencing the audio problems (clipping, echo). I'd like the update sooner rather than later.
But the 11th is still within my 30 day trail case the update doesn't fix the audio issues.

So what are you going to do? Go back to your previous phone, buy a Storm 2 or a Droid Eris? I would NOT hold my breath on the update.

If there's not a fix by the time the return period is up I'll just return it and go back to my old phone until the bugs, at least the audio quality get worked out.
