I actually like being an AT&T customer...but come on...a better 3G experience? The commercials are misleading, but their not completely wrong either. AT&T shouldn't be claiming a better 3G network. Maybe a better data network overall (and that's debatable), but 3G? If I venture out of a major city, I'm on edge...and although that is 2.5G, it's not HSPA.

While I'm on 3G, I agree, this is a lame commercial.
If anything, AT&T should be showing that the iPhone can do Twitter/Google Maps everywhere from NYC to LA and all parts of the boonies in between (fishing on a lake) even with EDGE.
...
So can my phone. That would be a really good commerical. I have the ENV touch and I can do all that but just choose not to. It is not that important to me unlike other people. But then again that is just me and there are hardly of any people out there that have the same views that a phone should just be a phone to have communication with talking or text. That is just simplicity for you. 😕
...
exactly. The commericals aren't really misleading you just have to look at the fine print and pay attention to it. Dealing with customers I would say that it is a true statment. AT&T can not compete with Verizon's network. AT&T took it the wrong way and tried to embarrass Verizon but it ended up back firing on them. Instead of wasting the money on the lawsuit they could have at least come up with a better commerical don't ya think? 🙄

Verizon was KILLING them with the Maps commercial! If anything they waited too long to respond. It's like being a politician and your opponent calls you a homo sapiens. You had best get out there and respond by either explaining that every human being is a homo sapiens or if you are REALLY nasty that your opponents mother is a homo sapiens. NOT responding is a horrible idea.
...
but maybe at least something a little better then that lame commerical? 😕
...
Well... Maybe there are more to come? *Shrug* Maybe they should hire the firm that does the Apple commercials.
...
But doesn't it also say something to just not respond? Who really looks bad in mud slinging? Generally the person doing the trash talking. Look at everyone taking swipes at the iPhone, but did Apple respond? Not at all and they are still doing just fine (then again, they take swipes at PC's all the time).
I think AT&T should have just continued with what they were doing instead of getting dirty. But if you are going to get dirty, I would take a swipe at how most people leaving carriers for AT&T are from Verizon. Make the slogan, "AT&T...everyone's doing it."
...
or... "AT&T, serving Verizon customers for the last three years."
...
Not neccessarily. People from AT&T always leave to Verizon. I hear it everyday........
