"No groups?!" Ask any T-Mobile retail rep, that has been with the company over a year, how their commission has been affected after the change. Everyone has seen a huge loss. End of year this year I have lost 19,000 compared to last year. However they forced sales reps three years to sign a doc that stated they couldn't start a union. Doesn't AT&T have a union?

Yea ATT is unionized. I completely agree with what you said. They've taken nearly all incentive (along with my motivation) to sell phones away. I've been with the company for a few years and I've seen them chip away at commission to the point now (with the newly released rate plans) that it's almost insignificant...which by the way, is the idea so when they completely eliminate commission, people won't care because we are barely making anything anyways.
T-Mobile employees need this to happen, otherwise upper management will continue to rape their employee, which will in turn, ruin the company.

Why do you think T-Mobile lost 70,000 subscibers in Q3 this year?

Because the sales reps don't get paid enough commission to push activa...

Mark my reply. If T-Mo reps don't start a union immediately they will be nothing more then hourly employees a year from now.

Had this happen 2 years ago, hell, 1 year ago, tomorrow may just not be my last day. I have been an employee at T-Mobile for almost 4 years, and still to this day, see no future whatsoever for myslef in this company.

The one thing that pisses me off the most is tha fact that there is a PART TIME rep, who has been here a shorter amount of time than myself, making more per hour.... REALLY?! That is bullshit!

Numerous attempts to get promoted have failed due to the fact that they have brought in most Management positions from OUTSIDE and don't really give much consideration to current, loyal employees.

Commissions have been lacking with the new structure as well, but I also remember a while back before Simple Comp. when PART TIME reps...

Sounds like to me you should go work for one of the other cell companies you are going on and on about. One of the reasons why you don't promote is probably because of your piss poor attitude. There is no way in the world i would promote you. I bet you sit around and cry to your coworkers too. Those same co-workers are telling your boss how crappy you are. IMO you should feel lucky you even have a job. Let alone get benefits. Unions have pros and cons, if you think promoting is hard now. Wait till your Union gets involved. As for me I won't unionize. I like my job and enjoy where i sit and yes I promoted with-in after working my butt off and SHOWING i deserve it.

Wow! You totally glossed over this person's complaint that he is full time making less than part time reps working the same hours he does with a lower quota. Should he be thrilled about that?

First employees are only as good as their managers 99% of the time.
If this is your auto view from his post it sounds you are defensive and have a hard time with your own team. High turn over anyone ?

You as a MANAGER should feel "lucky" to have employees, especially when other carriers pay WAY more for less non-sales work, and ya lets face it, T-Mobile missed it's high performer retention rate this past quarter EVEN WITH A BAD ECONOMY. That should tell you wonders.
As to benefits welcome to America, even McDonald's has a health plan.

Unions do have pros and con's but in this case the Pros easily out way the con's.

The reason you like your job is because of this, T-Mobile Management does crap, easiest job, I have friends in T-Mobi...

I 100% agree, I have been stating we needed a union since I started, I got my hours cut, and the commission I was told I would make I do not make even though I hit plan. I do ALL the work of a full timer(to be honest that of an assistant manager), top and bottom safe codes, keyed from cage to doors and alarmed coded, I do deposits and closing, I do everything you can think off, oh and I hit goal and I sell as much as hour full timer's. I am responsible for the other staff when our manager isn't around.
I make 9.75 an hour, my commission is usually around 650 with me well exceeding my goals.(around 35 acts is my goal).

I have almost 5 years in the industry, I came from Sprint, which I made 11.75 an hour and easy 1500+ commission checks. (...
