Verizon Responds to AT&T Suit, Calls It 'Meritless'

...And send a letter of such.

It is said that a business should thank their competition more than their friends.

A friend will mostly hold back insults or constructive criticism in respect to not hurt your feelings. A competitor will not. They will be relentless and go out of their way to bring you down. If not for a competitor, A business would become lazy. Nothing would go forward.

That is exactly what has happened here.

AT&T has sat on any advancements to benefit their subscribers. What they have successfully done is completely relied on their friends(New and current subscribers for the iphone) and essentially perceived this as a compliment for their services and being the best. Verizon has detected this and zoomed in on the deficiency. AT&T now needs to recognize this failure in providing to their friends what all the other carriers are otherwise offering.

This is a crucial mention, because as it stands, AT&T is quickly dropping to #4 in the 3G arena. They may have an over abundance of smartphone use, But the network is suffering greatly. Subscribers are pissed and they are tired. Verizon and Sprint are the top two 3G providers of fast and efficient 3G with 4G now becoming a reality. Lower versions of 3G, will no longer cut it as an argument. Verizon's uppercut was a precise delivery. AT&T's counter punch with a letter, is an insult to the wireless industry and more importantly; their subscribers. They need to get to the game of forfeit the score.
