I don't know why the technician thing would be a deal killer. Techs cannot open up phones anyway. Verizon does not even NEED techs. In some regions they are phasing out techs and just having customer support reps do CLNR exchanges and software updates. Trust me I know ALL the reasons why a person should not get the iphone. I worked for Verizon and it was my job to talk up VZWs offerings when customers asked about the iphone. Propaganda aside... I still want the phone to be available as an option if nothing else. Verizon customers should have the ability to choose the phone without porting out to AT&T.
