Its funny how they never attack sprint

by Desolationblade    Nov 16, 2009, 11:34 PM

First of all, I work for a retailer that sells verizon, at&t, and sprint. Here is the true breakdown.
62% of at&t's total US coverage is 3g
47% of verizon total US coverage is 3g
99% of sprint's total US Coverage is 3g, and 14% of their coverage is 4g compatable.

What is even worse is when I was in katanaing PA, I was getting more roaming verizon coverage then my fiance was with her verizon phone, my pre had 5 bars roaming her ENv2 had 3. At&t has more 3g coverage and it is faster, however verizon has more 2g coverage.

Verizon is being slammed by the fed government on 2 occasions.
1.) Claiming their entire map is 3g(which is false) and that the fact their map has 1 solid color indicating full coverage when they do not. Falsifying coverage map.
2.) unlawfully raising termination fees. Governments pushing a bill against Verizon for this.

Back to my original point.
Sprint/nextel end of 2006, 19,288,334 customers.
Sprint/nextel June 30 2009, 51,688,933 customers

Sprint has done so much to increase coverage, including selling the rights to 3g to verizon so we can roam off of them for free. They restaffed their customer service team, have lowered prices. They are doing something right if you look at the numbers.

lastly, screw obama for setting sprints budget to low that they have to lay off 2500 people. Spring was going to take a huge expense with the everything data mobile plan, but obama but in a budget for them after they did this and the only way to save the 350 million dollars or be sued, is to lay off 2500 people.
