Whats not to understand?

I understand that at$t has alot more to know about its coverage breakdown, Its at&t's job to make a counter commercial defending and including all this information not Verizons. But thats not what their commercial is saying. their commercial never denies or sheds light on at&t covers 75% of the nation with 3G.

AT&T can't force their competitor that Their commercial also say "But AT&T covers 75% of the population with 3G."

And no the commercial is not misleading. To everyone watching the commercial, you look at the map while its airing and you look where you live, where you visit and you see if you do or do not have 3G coverage, Its that simple!

So for those that look and see that att&t does not have 3G coverage and horizon does then...

I think Horizon is one of Sprint's affiliates. You meant Verizon, right?

Yes the damn spellcheck changed it to Horizon. Ironic that a cell phone website's spellcheck don't recognize Cellular names. ๐Ÿคจ

Whats wrong with that, anybody?

What's wrong is the commercial shows someone unable to get online with their AT&T device because of a lack of 3G coverage- that is blatantly false and misleading.

I travel very often- all over the United States and seldom overseas. I have had BOTH Verizon and ATT 3G devices (iPhone and Blackberries). The commercial from Verizon is not misleading at all. In fact, the coverage area for 3G services offered on ATT is quite accurate; I loved my iPhone, but to be honest, ATT 3G coverage is terrible unless you are standing in the center of Boston, Chicago, Philly, NYC, LA, or Miami. (Consequently, the largest percentages of the US population do live in those cities.) However, once you leave those areas, the ATT 3G map on the Verizon commercial is dead on. My 3G service with ATT is so poor and unreliable, I had to get another phone, a Blackberry, from Verizon Wireless. Not only do I have 3G services in ...

1) Knoxville, TN has AT&T 3G Coverage, as does Nashville and Memphis.

2) "Only carrier that does not have TV?" Are you talking about MediaFLO? Who gives a rats arse?

3) EDGE is available in the entire state of Tennessee minus a 20 mile stretch where no cell phone service is available on ANY carrier (outside of Asheville)

Yes, MediaFLO- and I DO give a RATS ass, because I am a football fan, and I DO want to watch it. Really? Are you from TN? Because I lived there for 10 years, and I can tell you that you are correct, there is ATT 3G IN THE CITIES YOU MENTIONED, BUT I HAVE ONLY HAVE 3G OVER THE ENTIRE STATE WITH VZ. Upon review of my post, you would read that I was referring to the ENTIRE STATE OF TN, NOT 5 cities.

I live in Cleveland Tennessee, and AT&T has 3G coverage here.

Verizon, on the other hand, does not cover the entire state. Ever been to Tellico? Ever been to Copper Hill? The Cherohala Skyway? Try using your VZW phone period.

Sorry, but much of Tellico has NO cellular coverage. We're not talking about The Hardee's on Bank street that sits less than 1000 feet from a cell tower, we're talking Indian Boundary and camp grounds.

Nope. Verizon CS locals will even tell you you need a car kit to get a signal at the river. Beyond that there is none.
