this looks bad
Especially after another deal with clearwire for 1.5 billion.

And how long before the clearwirte deal either falls apart or begins to show some ROI (return of Investment)? Or is this just another instance of featherbedding? Also Sprint's customer service is just sooooo great that even with fewer employees they will be able to cut wait time and enhance the customer experience. There is a season Churn, Churn, Churn, for every reason Chrun, Churn Churn...

Clearwire is extremely promising, not everything that a business this size invests in is going to immediately show huge profits. you have to understand how new business areas develop.
Also, sprint's customer service continues to improve. I dont get customers complaining about the service at sprint stores or call centers, which is more than I can say for other carriers I deal with.
Maybe its time for you to stop assuming.

Thank you for your lesson in how business works. I am aware that in many cases an investment in a new and/startup business may take time to show positive results. However a company should focus on it's core business and ensure that it is running and has sufficient resources prior to investing and then investing again in a new/ startup business. Now you are free to disagree with me and that is perfectly fine, however please do not patronize or condescend, that just cheapens the discourse.
While the customer service issues may be improving I really think it depends upon which call center your inquiry is routed to.

Part of focusing on your core business is ensuring that you will be able to do business in the future. So the investment in a developing area is just as valid for that as is cutting unnecessary costs. Sprint has for years been working to improve its current service, which is something that nobody disputes.
And if your first post had been as well worded as the last, you wouldnt have gotten the tone you did 🙂
