Do you have the slightest idea of how business works? I didn't think so.

If you were hired as a CEO of a failing company these are the things you would have to do to turn the company around. Once you get revenue and get more customers then you can hire more people. If you've lost millions of customers then duh, millions of employee's have to go, its the law of business.

He didn't create this situation he is only trying to fix it. Now sorry about your friends and family loosing their jobs but if their call center or store wasn't putting up competing numbers then during a process of elimination, they get eliminated. Eh?
