Sprint Says No Change In Its ETF Policy
It just keeps getting better.
Let's see here:
Verizon revenues down almost 20
percent.
Verizon draws huge attention to their network size compared to the number 2 carrier.
Verizon announces major hype on new devices.
Verizon doubles tethering rates as customers wait in line for new hyped device.
Verizon doubles ETF on hyped device and Smartphones.
No one can possibly justify how this looks. Bait and jail. Can you hear me now?
I feel very confident with my choice in staying with Sprint as my carrier.
I dont care that verizon has done all that, Hell Im with Sprint. 😎
If Sprint decided to jack their prices up 30% It would more then likely not be retro-active on contracts prior to that date, and as soon as my contract is over I will leave.
People we have choices so why the b!tching? Unless a company enforces a rule and backdates it then I would see why people would throw and fit.

The ONLY exception to this is if you have an Enterprise service (like BES). Since you are already paying $45 for data, tethering is $15.
Smartphone + tethering always is 60.
If someone thought they were getting tethering for 15, they never talked to a rep about it, or read up on it from Verizon's website.
Advanced device ETF not in effect yet, so Droid customers in line only have to deal with the $175 etf.
And even with their revenues down, they still remain profitable without having to sell off their network to do so.
If sprint works for you, great. But don't get defensive when someone (digitmasher) pointed out the obvious.
