ridiculous
maybe it's just me but do we REALLY need to be able to watch tv where ever we go? 😳 i have netflix on my xbox 360 and that's good enough for me.
...
Theres a service for that coming in 2010. Its in beta right now. You download movies to your phone. I'm sure google knows what it is, he knows everything.
...
It's not a movie service, it's live TV (some web channels) also I don't think I'd like to drag a xbox and television with me everywhere I go.
If you're home all the time and own a television, your not their target consumer for this service. It's for people who are never home to enjoy television.
My cousin is a trucker, and my friend is a field representative who travels all over FL. They both LOVE the service.
...
Because we live in an everthing/everywhere society now a days that's why.
...
every call i get about this feature is, "what the heck is it and why is this on my account?!" not "I need to watch tv and keep up with gossip girl and nip/tuck on my phone! gimme that mobi-tv!!!"
...
What do you mean about the part about "why is it on my account" People have things on their accounts that were put there without them putting it there?
...
precisely. it's called slamming and sales people from EVERY provider do it. sales reps increase their commission by putting features that are free for first 30 days, like mobiletv, roadside assistance, and the like. by the time the customer notices it on their bill, the agents audits have come back and they got paid out for it.
...
WoW!!!! That is so, so wrong!!!
...
right!! and us underpaid customer service reps have to clean up the mess. 👿
