Verizon Wireless Confirms $350 ETF for Premium Devices
Why is this ok?
Verizon fanboy would be all over it. Why is there the double standard?
Nobody cares now because all of their high-paying customers...

That's why they consistently get first (or tie for it) year in and year out when it comes to customer service, right?
Seriously, you want to be the fanboy and all and that's great if you're into that thing.. but at least pretend to have some data to back up your claims.
OF course someone who switches providers is going to rate the new service higher. Unsurprisingly, when I left VZW for AT&T I found AT&T's service better!

Is "Fanboy" your word for someone who disagrees with you AND is right?

Congratulations! Now go home 🤣

You're not even good at coming up with replies!
As opposed to you who is keeping us educated about words like "Crap" and "dumb"
Not sure what you aim to accomplish. Your not winning over tons of people with those words 🤣
And you're not right, as shown by every nationwide survey, study, and the fact that when ATT made the claim about "more bars in more places" they were sued and they switched it to worldwide, while Verizon's been running "best nationwide coverage" ads for years and they haven't had to change them.
And I can verify first hand Verizon exaggerates their network coverage. You know what's worse than not having 3G service? Your crappy carrier telling you you do!
ATT is not suing that the maps are inaccurate, just that the average consumer will misinterpret them. Perhaps you should read the news release again.
And yes, I know you are going to mention your "twenty mile gap" story for the millionth time.
Fun fact: The Ad on the tv show (scale wise) is so large that your "gap" most likely wouldn't show up even if they did make it white.
That section could also be a roaming partner, so it is that other carrier that is making the claim of 3g where there is none.
Give me a zip and I'll look it up on the map.
VZW's actual 3G footprint is close to AT&T's, which for some reason shows right up on their map.
Granted I mainly travel in northern and mid-adlantic states, but I have yet to be in an area where I don't have 3g coverage with my verizon phones, my brother cannot say the same with his att device.
And if you actually toggle the map to see Broadband/vcast (as in EVDO coverage) there are quite a few visible gaps on the east cost. There are also areas that show voice only coverage, or extended coverage (evdo rev0), it even marks out which areas are not native coverage. the east coast is not a solid band.
However, in many other cities I've had better coverage with AT&T- noticeably better, with faster download speeds to boot.
AT&T does need to grow their network, but I also have issue with Verizon Wireless telling me their 3G Network covers areas it doesn't.
and cities are only 20% of the country (if that) there are millions of people who live, work, and relax outside of cities. That is where Verizon's coverage blows ATT out of the water (not everywhere, but as a national average)
I am not claiming that verizon is superior everywhere, but on par, it is better for most of the country in terms of land area covered. I dont know how it is down south, but in the NE, the real money, and thus the lucrative customers are not in the cities.
And if you have an issue with Verizon claiming 3g coverage where it isn't, you should have an equally large problem with ATT claiming to have "the fastest 3g network" when they are basing this off a (comparatively) handful of the...

If you have low enough standards to sign up for them you have low enough standards to appreciate the same crappy service.
That was the only response you could think of? 🙄
-1 for you
+1 for Menno 🤣
I never, NEVER compare the Dare to an iPhone directly. It is NOT a smartphone, so it can't be compared to the iPhone, and I always let the customer know that. The same goes with the Rogue, the enV Touch, the Versa, etc. etc.
If you aren't getting email on your phone, or browsing the web all day, or running platform specific apps, you do not need a smartphone.
This also holds true of the iPhone. If you get it because it's shiny, you have to face the reality of the $30/mo data, and the mediocre (comparing to other AT&T phones!) signal strength.

Simple, it is OK because Verizon decided they could push their customer's around and they wouldn't say anything about it- because they have a map for that.
You must be right. All businesses are in business to push their customers around 🤣
Funny 🤣
