From what I understand, and read on Twitter, and blogs, it was a NATIONWIDE error that affected a lot more then 5% of their customers.

Matter of fact, I checked T-Mobile. Their website was slow that day taking minutes to load, but more importantly, no calls to their national 800 Customer Service number were being answered.

Sounds to me they were having more issues then they are admitting to.

I can understand Sidekick data not being their fault, but they are the reseller of that service so ultimately they pay the price. This however is beyond upsetting. I ALMOST signed up with T-Mobile this week, and after this, I seriously have to reevaluate the quality of their network. Im sticking with Sprint.

One of the primary reason they keep their subscriber base as long as they are would be their plans. Coverage is shoddy. I dont care if you do not go into areas that do not have the coverage. If it is "nationwide" then you should be paying for nationwide, and not just Urban, Major highway and suburbs. T-Mobile has little and practically no roaming agreements with AT&T in alot of areas. Just try a manual network search and try to register.
