"T-Mobile confirms it has fully restored voice and text/picture messaging services for customers affected by intermittent service disruptions on Tuesday. About five percent of our customers across various geographies were affected for much of Tuesday evening, and by late Tuesday PST their service was restored. Our sole focus has been restoring full services for all customers; we are now investigating the root cause of the incident. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused our customers."

The downsideof living on planet earth is that no preson or thing is perfect. These things will happen from time to time. People need to quit getting their panties in a bunch. The issue was resolved quickly, and the company way upfront about what happened and how they were going about fixing it.

Agreed. People need to pay closer attention to the contracts they sign with whatever carrier they choose: we cannot guarantee service at all times nor in all places. It's in every single wireless provider's agreement. It's even in the non-contracted providers agreement. Things happen, service goes down, an agry, drunken maniac drives a bus into a tower. It's unavoidable.

Man? 2000 years? I thought that "God" created the world 6000 years ago. Isn't that what President George W. Bush taught us?

Second, some wireless networks are more reliable than others. One that has gone down once in the last decade in a particular market is probably more reliable than one that has gone down twice in the last six months.
