I seen that coming awhile back ago. Funny things, Verizon never mention anything other than 3G. I dont see this going any where. Good luck AT&T on this lawsuit. I still believe Verizon is going to come on top!!!

That's exactly what I am thinking. I am an Apple fan boy and I thought the commercial was hilarious. Verizon called out AT&T and you're right, they only called them out on the 3G coverage and only mentioned 3G. In stead of filing a lawsuit, maybe AT&T should pick a 3G technology and expand it (and I mean stop worrying about increasing speeds and increase actual mileage)

One thing I do wonder is if the Verizon map shows actual Verizon 3G footprints or do they including their roaming agreement with Sprint...

If I were cooler I'd have a web link, but I'm looking at the VZW 3G coverage map in my store's brochure, and the maps are color-coded a bit differently, but they are pretty close if not the same as what's shown in the commercial for VZW's 3G coverage.

Do you think verizons roaming agreement with sprint (free of charge, btw) was them just being nice? Because they rely on sprints FAR superior EVDO coverage. 😎

Sprint, the company that is hemorrhaging customers and revenue and has half the customer base as VZW, has more capital to put up better coverage? That is hilarious.

It actually isn't...

Sprint was smart back in the day. Bought an absolute **** ton of spectrum (which is why so many CDMA pre-paid and MNVO use Sprint's network without Sprint being effected). They built up their 3G network pretty quick.

A lot of you guys need to stop acting like these companies are your friends. Verizon wants the same out of you that AT&T does...they want your money. I don't get why you guys defend Verizon like they are your family or something. Here's something, a good deal of Verizon coverage came from Alltel. Alltel had the largest network in terms of square mileage of ALL the providers and that's without roaming agreement. Sprint and Verizon used that in their coverage maps even though they were roaming agreements...
