Will this work without cell service?
It looks nice, but it will NOT be replacement for GPS apps like TomTom, Garmin and CoPilot that do not need cell service to work. Up here in NW CA, and across NorCal there are a lot of dead areas, so unless it can work with or without cell service it's not taking the place of CoPilot Live 8 🙂

Another question, will the Google Navigation work during an active call? I know VZ navigator will not work if you talking on the phone. If Google works the same, how will this replace my Garmin?
