I might go as far as to say this might be the highes low-end phone out there, especially for only $50! Isn't this like the first SE phone Tmo has carried in quite some time?

No, they have carried the SE TM506 for over a year now. this is its replacement.


its a very sleek phone, the lights feature is kinda cool. and i believe there will be more colors later.

Very nice phone for 50$, has a very solid feel to it!

Looks like a branded t707.

The only problem with these lower-priced SonyEricssons is reduced battery life. Hopefully that will be fixed, and hopefully this model will also be free of T-Mobile's Internet-blocking trickery so Opera will work.

TMo crippled this phone's ability to run Google maps? I tried downloading this to a demo in a store and a message said "invalid application". Is this because downloads are not allowed on store demos or google maps has been blocked? Why offer a phone that's got GPS and you won't let it run an app that will use GPS? Not everyone wants to pay for navigation now WTH?
