Meh, coming from a Motorola device, I expect a POS. Motorola don't make good phones anymore and their quality is garbage.

Silver Q, V710, V265, Razr, I could go on and on but surely the world knows Moto is a flop.

The only thing the world and your parents know is that you and the OP are the only flops. If you don't like Motorola that's fine, stop being cry babies and buy something else. Your opinions are groundless, worthless and a complete waste of a forum.
Myself along with many many other people have no problems with Motorola. For me, the W755, W490, Z9, Razr2 V8, Razr2 V9, E815 and V710 were all outstanding phones. I agree the original Razr was garbage, but the V3M and especially the V3xx were both great improvements.
For those of us who like great reception, loud and clear voice quality and reliability, Motorola works just fine. For those who want their phones to do a ridiculous amount of things like giving backscratches and BJs, then please...

It's a forum. I am going to post my opinion just like you are more than welcome to do so. You cannot shut me up with your name-calling (by the way, very mature). In my experience, 10 years in the wireless industry Motorola is a great big fail.

I suppose this was a wonderful piece of engineering as well? It was a piece of s**t. If I did not personally FRU 300 of those crap handsets... Anyway with that first generation device to go on all I can say is VZW had better ship CLNRs for this Droid to the retail stores or tech support will likely be flooded with calls from customers who cannot connect to the Internet.

Amen. The last decent Motorola was the 270C. People go gaga over the E815 and V710 because of the superior RF. However, how many times did the phone have to be warranty exchanged because of the screen going white or the sucker not charging? POS all the way. I'm glad that I am not the only one who knows how horrible those phones he listed were. The V3c was a worse phone than the V3M but make no mistake the V3M was nothing to write home to mom about either.

No, those phones were not trash, but trash would be a step up for you. Don't blame the company if you're too much of an idiot to know how to use a phone properly.

Dude, I sold and serviced these phones. I am looking at your profile and it looks like you went from AT&T to Alltel. What Motorola phones have you actually owned?

I have been with every major carrier there is and many times more than once. I am not going to give a complete rundown of my cell phone history as it would take too long and I do not care enough about this site to do that. I have extensively used all the phones I listed in my first post between being with Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, Alltel and even Boost. None of the Motorola phones I have used with them have ever given me a problem with the possible exception of the i776 with boost, but that was a battery issue.
With the addition of crystal talk, a good phone got even better. Although I am very happy with my W755 right now, the Z9 and the E815 have been the best Motorolas I have owned in the past. I have always gotten quality phones...

So there it is. I will take my experience over yours any day. You can name call as much as you like. I'm not going to do that. The only name calling I will do is against Motorola's handsets and I have more than enough experience dealing with them to back it up.

In my experience on these forums (several years now) the vast majority of people who are pro Motorola are usually speaking from an end user experience. While those who oppose Motorola (myself included) have worked in the Wireless industry and base our distrust of Motorola on the large volume of Motorola phone issues we have come up against.

So that's awesome that in your experience you have had 12-15 Motorola phones that have worked for you. But I am still going to trust the opinion of someone who has dealt with hundreds if not thousands of Motorola phones that have come across their desk.

Yeah I don't know how to properly operate a phone. Yet I sell them day in and day out.

Heres my thinking...either you work for motorola and your offended because most people KNOW that motorola phones suck. Or your just ignorant enough to believe that because YOUR motorola phones have treated you well that everyone else's have done the same. Please do everyone a favor and wake up before posting here again.

Other than the tank handsets of the 80's, Most of Motorola's "basic" phones, have been just ok. Nextel's network resurrected and brought out the best in Motorola. Very rugged! However, functionality features added to their devices including OS's, quickly rendered a major downfault. Motorola could only get few things to work right with their proprietary system. Motorola has gone back to the drawing boards to redesign themselves, but one should still question and be cautious of this new device in conjuction with past history. Azeron has legitimate points regardless of how abrasive they are.

I find that when people speak the truth about products and others just don't like the truth. Those people resort to calling names and saying nasty stuff about the one telling how crappy the product is. Why does this happen? Is it because they don't have any real points of the product to ague back with? They know that the product sucked and have to agree but are still angered so make up things about the person describing the product?

Here is an example "Denis Rodman sucked, he was more concerned about his hair color than basketball"

Here is a Rodman fans response, "you suck, your mom and your dad know it, they called you BJ because that's what you did to them every day"

Now if that rodman fan was smart he would say, "Rodman was actua...

I have had 3 Moto phones over the years, not high end just regular phones. They have all been great and I only switched because I had the 2 year credit that I wanted to use. They all had the best signal of any phone I had.

Here's a thought

Maybe Motorola is making all their phones for 6 week contracts? Because I have yet to see one that lasts that long.
