Looks good BUT not really a huge step up from the 9000

Phone looks great but if you really get down to comparing it to the previous version (9000) they really didn't change a whole lot. Basically just added a little more application memory, track pad, and 1.2mp to the camera. Same processor, display, keypad, applications. Kinda of reminds me when they launched the new iphone but at least they did beef of the engine on that one. Gonna be a cool phone just don't know if its enough for me to upgrade from my 9000.

I just love the original Bold, it has been very reliable for me and the size is perfect. I agree the 'upgraded' features are not enough to really want to change - I also think that making it smaller is one of the new features and this will appeal to many but for me that is a downgrade, I like the bigger size (I had a curve and always felt that it was too small). Wonder if RIM had decided that all the next generation of phones will be smaller than the original Bold. Heard that an upcoming Blackberry has a keypad and also a touchscreen. Wonder what the size of this would be as this somewhat interests me. It is a good looking phone, wonder if it will feel as well made as the Bold, and did they keep the leather back?
