Guess they were not going to allow T-Mobile to garner all the headlines on this device. Nice!

It's cool that AT&T came out with this phone also but look at the pricing of the phone. T-mobile offers the phone for $200 with a new or upgraded contract. AT&T offers it for $200 after rebate. No word on how much the rebate is but compared to T-mobile's pricing anything over $200 upfront is not worth the hassle of filing out rebates and hoping to get them in the mail.

I'm sure it will be $300 with a $100 mail in rebate, making it $200 after rebate.

I agree about the standard pricing but why put the customer and AT&T through the hassle of processing mail-in rebates

There is a percentage of people that don't bother/lose/or don't fill rebate forms out correctly which gives that company more money. I wonder if it is as simple as that?

It certainly is. Mail-in rebates and Gift cards are so much cake for companies.
