The difference is they weren't having lengthy conversations on CB, since everyone with a radio could listen in..
I still think it's a bad law.. talking on the phone isn't what makes it dangerous.. its finding it to answer it.. dialing.. etc..
it is not safer than changing the radio station.. putting in a CD.. or any number of things that we do every day while driving...
