See, I am wondering if this is what iPCS wanted to do from the start. Every five seconds they were suing Sprint for breach of contracts (which, BTW, I would absolutely love to see that contract). Were they just egging Sprint on all this time just so that the company would just buy?

Oh well...how many subscribers does this add? I am just glad that this mess is going to be all over.

Unless those loyal iPCS customers also defect to a different carrier. When I worked for Sprint and they bought Nextel, a lot of people were so upset that they just left.

The difference is IPCS functions as Sprint already.

Those acquisitions, were different Jeff. This is a much better fit and compatibility move. Look how things have changed since that merge. Sprint is tied with Verizon in CS, and AT&T is fighting a horrible reputation with their network. Many past subscribers are sorry they left Sprint. Let's hope IPCS subscribers are not ignorant and don't underestimate what has been accomplished here on Sprint's behalf. The Subs will have a chance to evolve now. IPCS would have held them back.

There's no gain. They already count the numbers of their affilates. The legal team can rest a little easier tho 👀
