I am no fan of the original Storm but saw a video of the Storm2, and it is nice, very nice. I hope it as good as the video on crackberry.com

I also wish this phone would be available on all carriers. Even after a reasonable exclusive time period.

Sometime in the future, AT&T should launch the Blackberry Dakota (formerly Magnum) which will be a Touchscreen AND Qwerty keyboard device.

I hope thats true, rumors of the Magnum are near a year old, and except for some fuzzy dubious pictures, I don't see much. I for one would be in on that.

Yes, but on the ATT network it would be like driving a Porche on a dirt road.

At least on AT&T's network I'd be able to get voice and data at the same time, or tether and talk at the same time, something VZW cannot do.

Yeah and you would be driving down that dirt road talking and surfing the web at the same time while taking out pieces of your windshield out of your face. Who cares if you can talk and surf at the same time its not like you will get enough 3g coverage to enjoy it.

That was kinda funny.

This is where you failed. Since he mentioned it, he obviously cares. Why do people think they can win a argument with things like "Who cares?" "I don't want.." "Who really uses?" and so on and so on. You cant win like that. There will always be someone who cares, someone who would want, someone who does use and someone that will, blah blah blah, you get the poi...

I'll tell you what, smart phone owners "do care about", and that's good mobile broadband coverage, otherwise known as 3G. For an example Sprint has 4 times the 3G coverage then ATT, Verizon has 3 times the 3G coverage. That's pretty sad. The fact of the matter is that smart phone owners don't want to wait 3 minutes to load ESPN mobile. In my opinion if the person you are talking to does not deserve your abiding attention while you are chatting on your smart phone then maybe you shouldn't be talking with them anyways, and you should just continue on surfing the web on your limited network, not to mention the cost on ATT is outrageous OUCH!

You don't have to live in the sticks to want rural coverage. Just try driving across the US comparing Verizon and ATT and your choice would be clear.

I travel a lot so Verizon is my choice.

If I was solely deciding my carrier based upon where I lived it would be ATT as there is a tower a couple miles from my house and I get full signal with ATT in the house but only 2-3 bars with Verizion.

First of all I just want to mentnion that I have been laying fiber optics across the country for sprint and its affiliates since the early 90's back before Verizon even existed. Second what am I smoking? I guess page 22 in PC world where it gives Sprint the nod for sprint being the most dependable 3g network in the country, care for a hit? Look it up yourself. Check your facts man before you reply. I never said that Verizons 3g was bad, I was saying that ATT's sucked. Heres a link buddy.

The hardware should be finally dialed in right on S2. The complaints about that have been addressed (gaps, dead clicking in the corners, loose bottom keys, better battery door access)

Internal memory has been doubled and the SD card is also doubled to 16gb.
OS has had a year to mature some. The 5.0 OS's are much better than the 4.7 ones in terms of performance.

Plus wifi (mandated by VZW on new smartphones from now on anyway) to satisfy th...

The Storm 1 can be unlocked to work on AT&T or T-Mobile (perhaps any GSM carrier).

I was looking forward to the 1st Storm long before release. Sadly, after playing with 4 completly different Storms I realized it was a better Idea then a actually product.

All 4 had serious lag issues. One of them in particular had a lag issue offline. You could press the Contacts icon and actually watch your contacts list load. Imagine you want to call a friend name Zaid. You could find yourself watching every contact before him load. Starting with A's.... lol.

Anyway, I have been seriously hoping...
