Exactly, crap happens, be it msft, rim, apple etc.... Don't see all these posts when RIMS servers take a dive, and believe me it has even a greater effect on its users.

Whoa, this isn't just servers taking a dive, it's Microsoft disregarding Murphy's law. Mind you the service didn't just go down for a few days, it lost people's data.

Everyone who works in the industry knows it isnt TMO's fault but we all know the customers who dont know things will blame the provider. They probably wont in this case since it isnt AT&T but if it was there already would have been lawsuits filed today.

I hope the sidekick customers dont take this lightly.. they are entitled something from this. It will probably be T-Mo forking over money. I dont foresee them ever selling the sidekick again.

Of course tmobile had something to do with it, this isn't the first time it's happened. Tmobile markets the device as worry free item without losing your information, it's up to Tmobile to make certain it's partners live up to this claim. Tmobile also has input on the design of the device, they could have demanded some of the redundant storage to be local on the device instead this insures people buy the data package to be able to store and retrieve data.
