at&t will not let any phones hit the market that they feel compete with the i(diot)phone. So this should be a lame duck.

Pretty much inferred it. Its true though. Ask att rep. if they are required to sell the iphone first and they will say yes. So why would they give a crap about any phone that could compete. They don't, so they won't

I will admit they do push iPhones and Blackberry's depending upon the salesman and to a lessor extent wm phones. Still most people as in every other major carrier who go in, not wanting such phones, they happen to be pretty honest in selling feature phones.

Have you messed with the Pure? Compared to the iphone is complicated, takes at least 2 or 3 presses to do anything. If you haven't done it yet. Try getting things off your memory card, its tough (usual WinMo). You need to set a default album for quick access to 1 directory, ignoring the others. The media player is pretty complicated as well. I can do it but its going to be hell for customers to figure out.

ATT thinks the iphone is the holy grail of cell phones, even though it strains the network.
