IMHO, a low cost all in one plan is better and would attract more subscribers as well as draw back disgruntled ex customer. They're not "giving away" anything. Sure a NICE $50/month plan seems like nothing to the company..but multiply $50/single line $65/2 lines by for instance 35 million subscribers. Thats a hell of a good pull of revenue I would say. There is no status quo for overpaying for this technology. Look at AT&T, its almost 2010 and they're still charging goofy prices for same old home phone service/features and slow dsl. Yet how many people do you know who have a home telephone with them versus lets say vonage (which has a bad rep also), $24.99 (all in one + world wide calling) versus $80+ per month. who would you pick?
