I'd love to see more about the Sprint/iPCS agreement. I can't see anyway that Sprint gains from the "partnership" yet iPCS seems to sue over every move that Sprint makes.
I'm half expecting to see them sue T-Mobile simply because DT had talked about trying to buy Sprint, and T-Mobile operates in their area.

the bad fart of wireless for Sprint. They just linger and linger and won't go away.

sprints rep has been irreversibly damaged with their careless business practices, what i dont understand is, why not just use this good quality network to have a $50 unlimited plan with text/web/email and $65 for 2 lines and get rid of credit checks and dump the foreign losers in customer service and setup call centers in the usa filled with reps with manners. I know its a crazy idea but it can work 😎

Giving away services will not help them either. They need to stay competitive by conveying an image of being a larger carrier, not a smaller one. Lowering prices anymore, will perceive a smaller one. They're already offing the most aggressive price plan of the major carriers. They need to stay the course.
Customer support has definitely improved dramatically. This is contrary to what past Sprint customers experienced and want to believe. Three recent polls have Sprint rated a very close second to Verizon. This is a very needed boost and should be commended.

IMHO, a low cost all in one plan is better and would attract more subscribers as well as draw back disgruntled ex customer. They're not "giving away" anything. Sure a NICE $50/month plan seems like nothing to the company..but multiply $50/single line $65/2 lines by for instance 35 million subscribers. Thats a hell of a good pull of revenue I would say. There is no status quo for overpaying for this technology. Look at AT&T, its almost 2010 and they're still charging goofy prices for same old home phone service/features and slow dsl. Yet how many people do you know who have a home telephone with them versus lets say vonage (which has a bad rep also), $24.99 (all in one + world wide calling) versus $80+ per month. who would you pick?

also I want to say this...look at metro pcs, they were this tini tiny provider...yet everyday thanks to their gorgeous selection of simple, affordable and generous plans they are growing larger everyday and expanding coverage and improving quality. sure their phones are crap but now at least they are getting smartphones like the blackberry curve and Samsung Finesse. most people are going "oooo a blackberry curve" sarcastically, but hey they even have roaming agreements and i'm sure they will get even more smart phones once they finish upgrading their network to 3G. give the people what they want and you get more customer loyalty. this is why i wont go with the iphone especially with at&t, because its overpriced and not even worth it...3 model...
