Senate Approves Jamming Cell Phones In Prisons

As long as the jamming is limited to within the jail house I'm ok with it.

But if it has the slightest chance of blocking calls outside or around the prison then I am against it.

The act requires the FCC to govern how and where signals can be blocked, to conduct tests to determine the minimum strength necessary to block signals, and to approve all systems before giving states permission to block signals."

The part that bothers me most about this act is the power it is giving.

I mean, they pretty much already had the power but this certifies it.
