Does the VOIP apps mask themselves as data usage therefore not using you're minutes? Where's the money savings?
What are the pros & cons?

No, not mask. VoIP is data. Anything transferred over IP (Internet Protocol) is, by definition, packet switched data.

yeah, that and the fact that the voice quality remains unknown. Skype sucks because it's choppy. I could only imagine how anyone would sound on VoIP...
