2 words I hate, "permission" and "policy"! ! !

AT&T is doing this cause they know damn well that the FCC is going to come crashing down on them with Net Neutrality. SAME rules apply to wireless companies as do wireline companies.

If AT&T doesn't want they're network effected by volp apps then INCREASE CAPACITY liky a company who has nearly 80m customers should.

I will answer your concern with one sentence:

"Widen your horizons with Verizon."

Over and out - that's a big 10-4.

???????????????????????????

I deleted your post??????????????????

I do not have the power to delete anyone posts. I am not sure how to even delete one of my own posts much less yours.

Was your message directed to someone else??????????????????????????????

I truely want you to reread your post and see how irritating it would be first to write it to the person who really might have deleted your post. MUCH LESS TO SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DELETE HIS OWN POSTS ! ! !

I do not want or need you to appoligize to me, but promise yourself not to do this again even if is directed against the right person.

I hope you will see how immature your comments were. We all make mistakes when we are angry, but it is up to us to contr...

The problem is AT and T has always focused on there equipment first and network last. It is now biting them in the rump! The Razor made Cingular the it network for a long time then the Razor became old they started to go down had to change there name back to ATandT to get away from all the negative name association. So the money that they spent on the name change and all the class action law suites should have been put back into there network but couldn't then they got the chance to snag a nice peace of equipment and took it even though there revenue from it is crap! Now they do not have the capital to pump into the network to bring it up to par and there customers are suffering. The only thing ATandT has going for them is that there custome...

I really wish I had more time in the day to debunk the avalanches of misinformation that get written on these forums daily.

What negative name association are you referring to? Are you referring to your own personal opinion that you now place on the world as a whole?

Most industry afficianados know damn well that the Cingular brand had a better response than with the AT&T brand. Read this:

AT&T was chosen as it has global brand awareness, and it made sense since SBC bought the rights to use this name. Globally, AT&T will be better recognized as the company begins conducting operations overseas.

Absolutely right. The Cingular brand was much more positive. It was fun with the little cartoon character. AT&T's name was better recognized, but ATTWS was mud. The decision was made because it only made sense to bring all the AT&T companies together. Makes advertising simpler.

This is some of the bad press that I was referring to. Not to mention all the legal actions and bad press that were taken against Cingular over there acquisition of At&t wireless and service issues. Not long after all of this the company bought out the company's that owned Cingular and the At&t name and started to switch everything over. Why would a company go from a Name that was so much more positive to one that you say had so much more negative brand association? If you are right about At&t and there global appeal. Then it would have been allot cheaper and easyer to use Cingular here and At&t there. But they didnt!

Consumer Reports, based on a survey of 50,000 of its members in 18 cities, which criticized Cingular for static and dropp...
