Clear Makes Good on WiMax Launches One Month Late
I've been researching Clear. . .
Here's the deal with Clear there IS an option to go month to month, you don't have to be married to the damn company with an evil contract!!!
Month 2 month option:
USB modem: $60
Activation: $35
Service: $20/mo 1st 6mo.'s
Total: $115 + tax.
I just spoke with both Clear's customer support, and tech support, and ask all sorts of questions. I even asked where the closest towers are to where I live & work, and there are towers a third of a mile from both places. My work is right in between TWO towers. So YEAH, YEAH, I'm all set. Now all I need is for my next payday (10/15) to get here!!! So they advertise speeds of 3-6mbps, with burst of up to 10mbps. I'm hoping that because I'm so close to a tower that my speeds will be closer to 6-8mbp...
