I can be a little open about Obama because I don't serve the military anymore. I done my time now I'm out (and no, I wasn't a Private). Secondly, becareful how much you think the government will "take care" of Americans and their safety, yes they do some things I like but not everything. There are 2 sides of the coin. I've seen fellow soldiers draw food stamps, unemployment, and not recieve medical care even for PTSD. So should I trust the government after they send those, who some are my friends, to hell and back and then not give a darn how they succeed when they return! Like one guy on here said, its a bit hard to hug the government when one has worked so hard and it go to $hiT.
Most soldiers and gov employees I talk to, very few support this administration. It's a little different when he's your boss.
Even if they ban using cell phones people will still use them. Just like drunk driving, they'll still do it. Matter of fact, I don't think they much care about drunk driving. Most of the time people spend the night in jail, get a heavy fine, then released. Some loose their license but eventually get it back.
And with the muslim comment aside, it's mainly the liberal views obama stands for. Alot of things I've stood for and believed in is being stepped on by the administration and gov.
And as for military people being morons, yes I've met some looney toons in the military too, but at least we were all willing to serve. Until you know what stress is put on our troops and have to see your friends and family embrace you with tears in their eyes because they don't know if it'll be the last, don't talk! Me and my family had to do that once and it's the worst feeling. It's because of the military you have the freedom you have, or still have at least.
