I think the key point missing from the summary is that they've started 3G at 850MHz, not just regular GSM. I have 850 3G in my location in WA and it's much stronger than 1900.

Supposedly I have 3G on 850 here in Las Vegas also, but I have noticed drastically improved service.
What about data speeds. Are your speeds noticably faster? I've been getting maybe like 30% faster speeds recently. Like 1.7-2.2mbps, nothing herendesly exciting.
