Another touch-screen device.

It seems like AT&T is carrying mostly touch-screens and slider phones. I miss the bar and flip phones. I like those better.

They're just following the market trends. Touchscreens are becoming expected on high end phones. Flip and bar phones with standard keypads will be relegated to the low end.

Yeah, I work for AT&T and it's hilarious sometimes. People will take even the most basic phones and try to touch the screen...it's almost instinctual at this point. But for folks who want an insured variant of the iPhone, the other touch screens are the way to go.

If done right a flip phone can be high end. Look at Verizon's Casio Exilim flip phone as an example.

Or the SE C905 which AT&T does sell. Well its a slider, but point made.

The Blackberry Pearl Flip is a nice flip phone with some raw power.
