Yes, that's what we believe, but the FCC doesn't confirm that.

I heard it wasnt going to have Qchat? Do you guys think its true? People think the Instinct"Q" meant either for QWERTY or Qchat. So since its just a rumor, i wonder if it'll really have Qchat? 😕

It may still be a "rumor" but these pics looks real to me. People can do great things with Photoshop but these don't look shopped to me.

The Instinct HD (or S50) will be out on the 27th and is NOT this device.

I have played with the m900. It's a slider keyboard (like the rumor) and is android based. Picture a MyTouch that has a slide open qwerty keyboard. It will be awesome. No info on any release date or price.

It was originally slated to have QChat. "HPPTT" is listed in one of the public feature lists. It's very possible that feature was pulled, though. Sprint otherwise has no plans for new QChat phones, as far as I know.

If you ask me, they're prepping to sell or spin off the Nextel iDEN network, and they've been on that path for about a year now. They keep coming out with new iDEN phones, but not hybrid or QChat phones. They don't want to encourage any iDEN users to switch to Sprint, because the iDEN network is worth more if it comes with a healthy customer base. It's also worth less if it's too tangled with the CDMA network. Therefore I suspect they'd rather have as few customers using QChat as possible.
