of course. I don't think it's right to make customers pay to provide their own coverage. AT&T needs to focus on improving its network and not on nickel and diming their customers to death like Verizon does.

Just to be fair, they're not just charging for the coverage, but for everything else it takes to make the call.

Also, if this prompts people to drop their home phone service, they're actually saving those people money. At $20/a month an individual could end up paying the same for wireless if they're able to drop their plan down because they're not using as many minutes.

I would say that quadrupling Sprint's price is probably a bad move.

It is difficult to fault a company for emulating Verizon as Verizon DOES make money.

Very few companies aren't. Sprint might be the only one, and even then, I'm not sure.
