Hey, they have the Iphone. As long as they do whatever it takes to keep it exclusive to AT&T why upgrade to LTE?

Because if it doesn't at least keep up with the Jones's, it will wind up like poor T-Mobile who is just getting 3g out there to it's customers...left far, far behind with a superior product like the iphone on an inferior network

Because HSDPA in it's current form is far from satisfactory. That's why.

Peace. I'm not advocating that it is a good strategy. Simply that they appear to be satisfied to upgrade HSDPA in increments. As long as subscribers continue to flock to them just for the privilege of purchasing the Iphone they are unlikely to make huge advances.

How is AT&T's HSDPA deployment unsatisfactory? Why do you think that its LTE deployment will be any better?

jay do u have at&t?

cause i have at&t and i agree with ur view on it. at&t is always behind on upgrading service (ie pic msging for iphone, 3g towers and more)

if at&t was as proactive on upgrading things it would probly be better and bigger than VZW

at this rate sprint and tmo will probly catch up in the near future
