MetroPCS is doing what DSL did, only build out in major areas. They can go cheap, expand fast and get a majority of ppl. Sure they aren't everywhere but what does that matter if you never leave the metro area?

Long term this could be a winning angle. I wish I had thought of it. This has to be the only way to grow and stay in business. Mark my words, MetroPCS is here to stay and they can grow, that is the hardest thing to do when your competition has 30 years advantage on you.

Potential for success does not secure success. It simulates a illusion of prosperity. I agree that Metro has room to grow but grow to what extent is questionable at the least. Metro, Cricket, Tracfone and even Virgin Mobile had/have potential but again, to what extent? You think they will someday be "competition" for the Big 4? Thats what you indicate by suggesting the competition is 30yrs ahead. I just dont know how much stock I would buy into that hope, wish. Metro may never get that big. They may very well end up like another Immix. Great for the local but.... Outside of that...

Anyway, I admire your faith. I hope your right. I hope they do become part of the competition. That would only mean better things for us, the consumer.
