Sprint-Nextel has been a complete mess since the "merger" they can't really make their minds up on what to do with Iden.....now lets get GSM in the mix with T-Mobile....even bigger headache.

even funnier..... (I am a democrat in support of healtcare reform but I do like humor) Maybe we can encourage the goverment to have a "unified social mobile network", in that we pay our bill to United States Goverment Mobile LOL and they run everything!

Perhaps you haven't noticed, but the two technologies (GSM/CDMA) are slowly merging to be the same technology. Might not be as big of a transistion as some might think. You also see many phones now with dual radios, mainly CDMA carriers adding GSM for worldwide use.

That makes sense. Afterall Sprint was able to get phones to combine the iDen two way into a CDMA device. Why can't all 3 radios co-exist. Powerhog certainly .

The Storm and Tour have GSM radios with 850mHz and 1900mHz frequencies (for use in South America, however they can be unlocked for U.S. carriers).
