TMO USA hasn’t been doing as well as yesteryear, especially with (most recently) very competitive pricing plans from other carriers who are ‘Top tear’ carriers.
Once upon a time TMO USA was known as a low cost…you get more than your paying for carrier. But lately they’ve been suffering an identity crisis, slow 3G roll out, small native coverage, prices have slowly crept up, no WOW factor phones like the iPhone, BB Storm, or the Pre.
Plus doesn’t Vodafone own like 45% of Verizon, so it might not be all bad.

MyTouch? BB 8900? TouchPro 2? Memoir? Still has the best Customer service (that has been its indentity for a long time now, nothing has changed about that).

Idk, I don't find anything valid in your post. Sorry. T-Mobile isn't doing any worse then say AT&T is. They clearly are doing better then Sprint though. They have had more customers signed up then Sprint has and they are the only company with a Flexpay (poor credit) program. T-Mobile is also the only company who does not charge a deposit. Yeah, sorry, I just didn't find anything truthful in your post.

Last month, Mr Obermann reiterated his warning about the poor performance of T-Mobile US, which reported a 1.7pc fall in underlying customer revenue in its second quarter.

The US operation is struggling to compete against larger rivals AT&T and Vodafone's 50pc-owned joint venture Verizon Wireless, which have more advanced 3G networks. T-Mobile US is also losing customers to small operators offering cheap deals.

Combined, T-Mobile, the fourth-placed operator, and Sprint, the third biggest player, would closely challenge AT&T's second-place spot with 78.2m customers

why does sprint really need good customer service when they have techs at the stores and stores everywhere.

if anything let the store reps handle the customer service call..

ive worked tmobile for a while. i was tech support, bilingual customer service, and just regular customer service.

the only reason why people think tmobile customer service is good is because they water you down. im sorry sprint is too blunt and too the point with you.

depending on the phone and the symptoms they mentioned i knew excatly what the problem was but i was instructed not to tell them. i was supposed to sugar them up act like i was helping knowing that it wont work...

and if a customer called in from cali and said they cant check their voicema...

well people dont wanna call in if u have bad customer service so when they have a problem they made not want to talk to anyone which may eventually lead to a churn.

we at at&t have to be nice and so should sprint.

Flexpay really isn't any different from what ATT and VZW offers, buy your phone outright, no contract, and you have the same plans as if you would be in contract.

Your wrong, Flexpay can also do a 2 year contract and get the phones at a discount.

Seriously. Verizon will allow someone to do Month to month contracts if they buy the equipment outright or provide their own equipment, but they are still going to run credit and possibly require a deposit. If one has a history of not paying bills why would a carrier allow them to set up a plan without a deposit. That is bad business. Otherwise...there is traditional prepay.

What I don't understand about credit checks & deposits is WHY can't it just be as simple as you get you get service, you don't pay they stop service, that simple. Apartments, you pay you stay, you don't pay you don't pay.

they's lose money like that...

sprint understands that people have lifes and ish happens. what if your in the hospital and arent working so cant pay your bill. wouldnt it suck to have your service cut off and no one knows how to contact you.

thats why sprint gives you a credit line or if you are a premier customer you dont get a credit line you cant just charge up your account because you've proven youself worthy. you pay your bills every month on time.

Are you serious? How high of a bill might someone run up before the carrier realizes they have no intention to pay? Now multiply it by millions. That is a recipe for bankruptcy.

Yeah...and you pay full price for the phone. FlexPay still allows you to sign a contract. Do the AT&T and VZW versions allow you to prepay for everything and never have a bill loaded down with overages?
