Just to make this clear. Google Voice does not apply to this. This is only for standard landlines & mobile numbers. Check out the link below:

"Only standard domestic landline or wireless numbers are eligible. "

Does anyone have first-hand experience with a plan like this that supposedly excludes GV? I understand the inclination of a carrier to ban GV, but how could they possibly police this? What if a contact has only given me their GV number? Can I now not call them at all? Isn't that a public relations nightmare?

If you can add a Google Voice number to your A-list then there should be no problem. I believe the original poster doesn't want consumers to 'abuse' AT&T by receiving Unlimited Voice. This sort of thing happened a lot with Tetherberry as well.

It also doesnt work with Skype. I wonder if Verizon's works with Skype and Google Voice? Who really cares anyway I think the 5-fave feature is just an epic fail anyway.

It is an amazing value for customers on the 2100+ plan because in a lot of cases it allows them to drop down to a lower rate plan, saving them money every month.

Yes, if people aren't using their minutes anyway it won't help them.. If anything, this might backfire for ATT because customers will stop using their "rollover" on heavy months because of the A-List, and decide to switch to another carrier.

Have you actually attempted to add a Google Voice number or are you an employee attempting to warn consumers against adding a Google Voice number and receiving Unlimited Voice for $59.99?

No I haven't attempted to add the google voice number to my account. The AT&T statement clearly states that the unlimited voice works with landline & mobile numbers only. I have been with AT&T since 2003, but am waiting for an HTC sense phone to be released with T-Mobile. I want an android phone because it is so much more compatible with Google Voice. I'd love to see each carrier have a more affordable unlimited plan.
