September 20 is like 11 thousand days from today though! But the 20th is also only 2 days after my next billing cycle starts. It sure is about time! ! !

I'll be glad when Sprint jumps on the wagon and makes this publicly available.

I guess they're going to have to now that the other big 3 are offering similar plans. Just like last March when all the carriers launched unlimited plans in the same week, one followed the other.

Nice try AT&T 😈 ... I have the $39 plan and could really use the A-List, but I would have to increase my plan to $59 and double my minutes. If I did that I would need the A-List!! Then the A-List is not FREE! ☚ī¸

This is no good, I'd have to double my minutes plan from 700 to 1400. 1400 minutes a month is the same as unlimited to us. plus since a voice call is nothing but a slow data download with a simultaneous upload we shouldn't have to pay anything more than our unlimited data plan. Any provider can anytime they want make all plans unlimited and it would not affect their bandwidth only make them more competitive. I'd rather have a 3G microcell device that gives me unlimited use from my house so I don't need a home phone and it doesn't burden the provider at all. Simply give people what they want and you'll gain customers!

You are absolutely right, A-List is not free. I am with AT&T and I think they are a POS for doing this the same way verizon is a a POS for only allowing the plan if you spend 60.00 or more. I also have the 39.99 plan where the A-List feature would be a big help but if I spent 20 dollars more a month I would have more minutes then I need and would have no need for the damn a-list feature. They can F off and I can't wait till my contract ends so I can get away from these bastards. That 50 dollar unlimited plan on Boost is looking better and better as verizon and AT&T are getting worse and worse.

I'm glad that AT&T is taking steps to help their customer's save money on their minutes but them and VZW still did not get it right when it comes to the "MyFaves" plan.

They want the single lines to pay at least $60 not including any data. And Families have to pay at least $90.

The sad part is is that on the family plans the 10 lines have to be split between the people in the plan. If the family has 5 lines then each person only gets 2 unlimited lines.

In T-mobile a single line only needs to pay $39.99 for a Myfaves plan and for families only $69.99.

In each person in a T-Mobile MyFaves family plan all get 5 lines unlimited. So if the family has 5 lines on the account. That accoutn will have 25 lines of unlimited calling in any...

MyFaves can only change the #'s once every month. VZW one can change it any time and will take effect 24hrs later.

that's ok but the point of myfaves is to have someone you talk to all the time. If you are going to constantly switch them around then it is pointless. Once VZW realizes that its Friends and family members are using those numbers like that there will be an extra fee of some sort to compensate fro changing the fave numbers all the time.

I would rather have my favorite 5 then my favorite 2 and have to switch them all the time

AT&T is not trying to compete with AT&T. AT&T competes with Verizon just like Verizon only competes with AT&T.

T-Mobile and Sprint try to paint this picture like its really the BIG 4, but lets be honest, its more like the Giant 2 with a couple big guys trying to keep up.

Good effort AT&T but honestly, not good enough

Exactly. What's even more sad is that you can get MyFaves on T-Mobile without a contract starting at $39.99!

Sprint has offered Pick 3 for a few years. This a retention offer and you can stack Pick 3. This is a free service for new and old customers. I agree, that Sprint should make this service public.

Your going to say a lot of haters (Im naturally a hater for the sake of debating) comparing this to Verizon and T-Mobiles MyFaves. What they will say (and have already said on this very thread) is that MyFaves from T-Mobile is better, which, it honestly is.

However, this is not a bad addition to AT&T's plans. After announcing Mandatory Data on all Smartphones AT&T had to give something back to the consumers sense it took something away (being able to own a smartphone without Data). What they gave was 5-10 people you can call unlimited. Though this isnt as good as the possible 5-25 people on T-Mobile, something is indeed better then nothing. Good effort AT&T.

1st My Circle, then MyFaves and now A-List.
